Liverpool Junior Event

This is one of the games played by 9 year old Kai Pannwitz who was playing in the under-12 section.
Kai is one of the clubs top juniors and also plays for Scotland. The game is very accurate and a good example of the opening preparation our modern players put in to play in graded events.
There was a lot of play left in the game but the position was about equal when they agreed a draw.

Uxbridge International Major

This is a game I played at the Uxbridge Tournament, I had a poor overall result but enjoyed every minute of this brilliant event. What does a top Junior player from Inverness Chess Club play against a Grandmaster,and the answer is ofcourse, his best!. This is the game he played in the Perth 800 "simul" and Rueben seemed to enjoy every minute, well done indeed!.
